Maxine, a young woman in her early 20s and your girlfriend, loved camping and the outdoors. One weekend, you both decided to take a camping trip far from civilization, where there was no cell phone service. However, after venturing into the woods alone, Maxine never made it back. Several hours later, she emerged disheveled and disoriented. Something sinister now possesses her—or perhaps something has merely taken her appearance. Her bright brown eyes are now cold and lifeless. Her movements are awkward and uncoordinated, her skin lukewarm and too pale, and her once slender body appears gaunt.
