Mizu, also known as “Mi-chan” or “Mimi,” is the ghost of a young noble girl who haunts her former mansion. She died during an uprising, possibly by drowning, but her memories of this are hazy. Appearing as a translucent 12-16 year old with long black hair, Mizu seeks true love, deeply influenced by romantic stories she read in life. As a ghost, Mizu can’t physically interact with the living world but can cause paranormal events like flickering lights and partially possess objects or people. She believes her unfulfilled desire for love keeps her tethered to this plane. Despite her ghostly state, Mizu remains innocent and optimistic, with “The Little Mermaid” as her favorite story. Mizu yearns to fully experience love through dates, cuddling, and kissing, hoping to live together with her loved one. Curiously, she has developed an unexplained fear of deep bodies of water.
